Bear Lake

We went last weekend to Bear Lake with Joe's sister Beth and her family Dusty, Izaiah (2.5yrs) and Jordan (1 yr). We wanted to tent camp by Dusty's families cabin but it was suppose to be cold and rainy. We luckily stayed inside because if not we would have gotten rained out on Saturday morning. It was a great getaway over all.

On Friday night we got Cafe Rio be for we went up so we didn't have to cook. It was great as usual. We then let the kids play around and we played horseshoes and catch. It was great until the kids wanted the big horseshoes and not the kid plastic ones that they had to play with. We then walked down the road and got yummy shakes. The kiddos enjoyed it too. Then we played cards and Joe was so funny because he thinks he knows how to play but doesn't.
We were all so hot when we went to bed and by morning we were freezing. It was raining and not looking up. Joe had to come home and work so we couldn't just leave. The cousins played some more and we played cards more. It was great because I was losing the whole game and on the last two rounds I ended up winning. I love to win. The weather finally started warming up after we got some hot chocolate. But still not warm enough to play at the beach. But we did take the kids to play at the park and it was fun.
Then Joe really wanted to so swimming. We found a place and let him run down swim for a minute and then he was done. He claims it would be fine but we are chickens and don't like to be cold. We then had Tin foil dinners. It was great right from the grill.
After dinner we went and got firewood. It took a while to get the fire going but once we did it was great and warm. Then we picked up and left Sunday morning. It was a great weekend even if it didn't turn out excalty as planed. Thanks Beth and Dusty for inviting us.
