Christmas Finally

Joe had to work on Christmas Eve and then Christmas night so we were able to stay home and have a great Christmas together with just us.  During the day me and the girls went window shopping and got a few grocerys we would need till Monday.  Then went to lunch together.  Joe couldn't take the time cause he had to use his lunch to help clean the church.  We missed him.  But after work we went to play on the cupcakes and ice cream things at our mall.  The girls love it.  Maleah doesn't stop enough to get a picture.  Here is Whitley with Dad in the orange shirt. 



After playing at the mall we drove around some looking at lights, but they girls don't really care much for them.  We got home and made a steak dinner, yummy.  Then to get ready for Santa!!

We open one present which is always PJ's on Christmas Eve.

 Then we hang the stocking up for Santa to come and fill them.  Whitley was so cute and just wanted to peek in them and sit and watch them.

 We then watched some Christmas movies before bed time.  Maleah was so ready to see what she was getting she didn't want to go to sleep.  No one slept well but we made it through.

 This is the ornament Maleah made at Preschool for us.  It is really sweet and fun to see how big she is getting.

Night, Night
I took more videos of the girls reactions so there aren't very many pictures.  Some of the favorite toys were on the big ones.

 The doll house in the background, I refinished and painted it with some little furniture.  It wasn't the biggest hit I wanted it to be but the girls still play with it enough to make it worth it.  A few other big hits were a Dora fair doll, new princess, coloring books, candy, movies, a big slide that will move outside in the spring, a doll cradle to share and some music toys.

The girls were spoiled but we loved it.  We had a great Christmas together as a family.  I also resized matching girl dresses but forgot pictures that day.  I took some later but the girls are so not happy to have them on.  Church we had a nice program from the ward choir.  Then we just spent the day at home together before Joe went back to work.  I love Christmas season and had a great year with my family!!
